So the candidates which apply for these student scholarships have to be careful and attentive to avoid the scam. Main features of the false scholarship programs are described in this article.

Some of the good programs can have listed features, but do not refer to the fraud. If the program includes several of these features it is certainly the scam.

The first peculiarity of the false program is the requirement to pay some fees for the application. Legitimate providers of the scholarships do not usually solicit fees.

The next advice is to pay attention on the information from the reliable sources, such as local university offices and special departments of schools and universities, official websites of the student scholarships, financial aid administration, etc.
